The Hybrid-Agentic Leader program

Most AI programs focus on tools or training and miss the point - effective AI is all about designing out work.

This program helps leaders master the redesign of business critical workflows, embedding AI into real tasks, and setting clear standards for consistent performance. Participants shift from fragmented AI use to structured, repeatable systems that improve quality, speed, and control.

The outcome is leaders who can document, optimise, and lead work in a hybrid human–AI environment.

What’s involved?

  • Duration: 1 hour

Aligns senior leaders on why AI efforts stall and what needs to change for results to scale. Sets direction, expectations, and the conditions required for success.

    • What’s the urgency and why AI isn’t delivering yet

    • The roadmap for moving beyond experimentation

    • What the program involves and what it requires

    • What leaders need to prepare (workflows, people, authority)

    • Working sessions with sponsors to align on focus areas

  • Duration: 1 hour

Prepares participants for how the program will run in practice. Sets expectations that this is applied work, not theory.

    • Why this matters to their role and team

    • What will change in how they work

    • What they’ll be doing in sessions and between them

    • How outputs will transfer into day-to-day work

    • How success will be measured

  • Duration: 2.5 hours

Makes the work visible. Teams break down real workflows to understand how work actually gets done today.

    • Identify and prioritize high-value workflows

    • Break workflows into tasks, steps, and decisions

    • Capture how work is currently performed (not idealised)

    • Surface friction, variation, and hidden complexity

    • Document workflows so they can be improved and reused

    Results:

Be able to produce complete workflow documentation for work optimization, employing AI tools, onboarding, detailing job requirements, and supporting coworkers filling in during an emergency.

  • Duration: 2.5 hours

Redesigns the workflow to improve performance. Teams restructure work based on what should be removed, automated, or enhanced.

    • Identify tasks to eliminate, automate, or redesign

    • Decide what should be AI-supported vs human-led

    • Restructure workflows for speed, quality, and consistency

    • Define guardrails, checks, and decision points

    • Plan how changes will be introduced into real work

    Results:

Be able to redesign work as needed to optimize productivity, quality, performance, and the work environment, including designing work around the deployment of AI tools.

  • Duration: 2.5 hours

Focuses on execution — how the redesigned work actually runs. AI, automation, and human judgement are embedded into the right parts of each workflow.

    • Embed AI into tasks where it adds value

    • Design automation where human input isn’t required

    • Define where critical thinking and judgement are needed

    • Integrate tools into the flow of work (not separate)

    • Ensure safe, controlled, and effective use of AI

    Results:

Understand the uses of various AI tools and where and how to deploy them to optimize work. Utilize best practices and frameworks for working with AI tools. Assess the various risks of AI tool use and follow safe practices.

  • Duration: 2.5 hours

Ensures the changes stick and scale. Leaders enable adoption, build confidence, and expand the approach across the business.

    • Communicate the shift and what it means for teams

    • Address resistance, fear, and uncertainty

    • Support teams adopting new ways of working

    • Build internal capability to continue redesigning work

    • Scale the approach across other workflows and teams

    Results:

Be able to create and execute plans for managing the change to an agentic workplace. Know how to communicate with workers to assure them you will help them through the change and make it a positive outcome. Be able to equip workers with the skills they need to succeed in an agentic workplace.

What’s the time commitment?

The program runs over 4–6 weeks and is delivered through a series of 4–5 workshops. Some sessions are shorter (60–90 minutes) to maintain momentum, while others are longer (2–3 hours) to enable deeper workflow redesign.

A small group (typically 5–10 people) — including team leads, operators, and subject matter experts — works on real workflows throughout.

Between sessions, there is light application to test and refine what’s been built. This isn’t a heavy lift, but it does require time, focus, access to the right tools and workflows, and the authority to make changes to how the work is done.

What outcomes can I expect?

By the end of the program, the work itself has changed. AI is embedded into real workflows, outputs are more consistent, and teams have a clear way of continuing to improve and scale what’s been built.

This isn’t a one-off uplift — it’s a shift in how performance is created.

  • AI embedded into day-to-day work

  • More consistent, reliable outputs

  • A repeatable approach that can scale across the business

What happens after the program ends?

The program doesn’t end when the workshops finish. Your team becomes part of an ongoing community of practitioners applying the same approach — with access to support, shared resources, and real examples as they continue to refine and scale their work. This ensures the improvements don’t stall, and that your teams have somewhere to go as new challenges emerge.

  • Access to a community working on real workflows

  • Ongoing support to ask questions and get input

  • Shared templates, examples, and evolving best practice
